Tips

Please go through the app and review the guide for all potential conditions & situations BEFORE they happen – so you can be better prepared if and when they might occur.
1. Adjust all personalized settings by clicking on the settings icon located at the top left-hand corner of the Main screen on the iMobile Care app.
a) If you wish to input an emergency note or special instructions, please keep these messages brief, as there’s not much space on a mobile phone screen. For example:
“Help. Choking”
“Help. Insect bite. Allergic”.
For special instructions, these are examples you could type in, depending on the event, condition or situation:
“My medication ____ is in my briefcase.”
“My inhalator is in my handbag.”
b) On the repeat section – this will determine the number of times the SOS will sound.
c) Make sure you input the country (the country you are in at the present time) by scrolling to the correct country so that the main screen on the iMobile Care app will reflect the correct emergency code number for that country (911 for USA).
d) You must click on the synchronize button on the settings screen and also click on save to make sure all the info is in the database of the iMobile Care app.
2. To input data into your “My Information” screen, you need to first touch or click the edit button. Then you put in whatever information you wish. For submitting your photo, you will need to upload a photo from your library database on your iPhone database or take a quick photo, which you can store in your library. Make sure you click on “Save” to insure all the information will remain on the iMobile Care app.
3. Always make sure you never put YOUR own safety at risk. Always survey the surroundings and location. In extreme critical events, contact Emergency before using the iMobile Care app.
4. Do your best to keep calm and try to keep individual(s) as relaxed as possible. Speak clearly and with a confident tone.
5. When there are multiple parties in critical situations, ALWAYS treat or provide care for the individual(s) who are at the greatest risk or in the most danger.
6. Monitor the conditions of individual(s) in distress before emergency personnel arrive.
7. Try to place the individual(s) in distress in a safe comfortable environment.
8. Do not supply narcotics, alcohol, energy drinks, or nicotine to individuals in distress. Follow the iMobile Care app for guidance on what to do, depending on the particular situation or condition.
9. The button “Photograph Situation” on the bottom of the main screen enables you or someone else to take photos of your condition or situation, such as an insect or jellyfish bite, an abrasion, or damage to your car after an accident, and which sunsequently you may store in your library on the iPhone.
10. If you accidentally touch the emergency or SOS button on the main screen, a screen will pop up which will ask you to “Cancel” or “Call” or “Sound”. Please use these features only during serious events.
